Good afternoon everyone,

In a way to get more practice on today’s phrasal verbs, please come up with a short story or a dialogue  of your own and try to include at least five of the phrasal verbs and some of the expressions we have just learnt  in today’s class.

After you are done, request one or two of your classmates to edit it for you before you publish it.

1.     Hi,  This is Razia speaking, How  are you?

          I just  got your miss call.  May I know who is that?

2.Today I have an important assignment and I would appreciate if  everyone could switch off  their cell phones. We have a lot of important things to discuss and we don’t want to be interrupted.

3.I’m sorry He is out of town. Can I take  a message?

Yes, could you ask him to call me back when he gets in.

It’s urgent.

Sorry I could not  hear you properly can you speak up please.

Is Mr. Wilson around today? Hang on please.

Could I speak to Susan, please?
